Katie & Brandon Married

I had been waiting for over a year to photograph Katie & Brandon's wedding, and was SO looking forward to driving up to Duluth for a long weekend away where I got to do what I love!! When the weekend finally came, I packed my bags, hopped in the car with my (then) fiance (he makes a GREAT assistant... so much patience for me while driving me around and holding gear for me!!) and made the beautiful treck up to Duluth! I absolutely loved the sequence of events on this wedding day... here are a few of my highlights:

• Realizing that the beautiful bride would be wearing a dress adorned with feathers and lace -- as well as sassy cowgirl boots.
• A super relaxed, casual ceremony with everybody standing around the bride, groom, and wedding party -- that ended with an absolute downpour as the couple was declared husband and wife. :)
• Taking the bride & bridesmaids on a short photo shoot around Canal Park (they were a BLAST!!) and then going to the bar to capture the wedding party taking in a few drinks and arcade games before the reception!

The entire day was just so fun for me. Heck, the entire WEEKEND was! I love that my job allows for travel to capture these wonderful events... couldn't ask for more!! Katie & Brandon, you two are the most wonderfully thoughtful couple I could have ever asked for! Thanks for being such an inspiration. I wish you all the best in your lives together!!
