Joelle & Scott Married
I'm yearning for hot summer days, and weddings like this. Winter was so welcomed by me -- finally finding time to work on the BUSINESS side of my business, catching up on all of the work I had been putting off (helloooooo weekly blog posts and website face lift!!), and actually having weekends to spend with my husband, cozied up on the couch and nowhere important to go. I've missed having real weekends with him, so it has been so wonderful! But my gosh, can it GET any colder outside?! Don't get me wrong, I'm still loving that sparkling snow and those glorious pink winter sunsets, but I'm getting so anxious for warmer weather, and I'm really starting to miss wedding season! But for now, I'll just sit tight with my slippers, sweatpants, mug of hot tea, and a blanket, and reminisce with beautiful weddings like this one. Joelle and Scott's wedding day was exactly that: beautiful. Never have I seen a bride with a glow as radiant as Joelle's... she was GRINNING the entire day, and the smile was always returned by her new husband. They look at each other with such an amazing love; I'm MORE than sure that every single guest could feel it. Here are my highlights of their wedding day:
- Scott giving Joelle her "something blue" during their first look photos: a blue glass heart that he tied onto her bouquet. - Watching Joelle literally bouncing with happiness during their wedding ceremony. Does it get any sweeter than that?! - During the excitement of their reception, I looked outside and realized that the sun had JUST gone below the horizon. I grabbed the bride & groom and we ran outside for some quick photos, even though we had missed the sunset. The result? Some of my favorite bride & groom portraits E.V.E.R. Everything was glowing with amazing blue, purple, and pink hues. The sky was made of cotton candy!!
Now, check it out for yourself!
