Brittany & Alex Married

What can I say? It's such a privilege to be able to capture weddings in the family. So when Brittany (a fellow [now former] Esterling girl) asked me if I would be able to photograph her upcoming wedding, I was SO HAPPY to do so! So the hubs and I packed up and headed out on the 7 hour drive to Peoria, IL to capture Brittany and Alex's gorgeous wedding day. A few of my favorite things from their day:

- Bridal party attire! Alex rocked a pair of grey vans, the bridesmaids wore incredibly cute grey and coral lace dresses, and the beautiful bride nixed wearing a veil and went for an incredibly awesome beaded headband instead! -- I love when couples aren't afraid of letting their personalities shine through in fun ways!! - Even through the hurricane-force winds that we were working with for photos, everyone was laughing and having a good time. It's just the best when the little things that "go wrong" don't matter and everyone is just joyous and excited to be there for the occasion! - All the guys in the wedding party surrounded Brittany during the reception and sang "My Girl" to her. It was the best. See photo below for proof! :) - Also, Brittany's beaming smile as she walked down the aisle. Gets me every time!!
